Love the design when I saw it for the first time. Tried to find a cheaper alternative, but couldn't find it. Worth it, just cute.
This is a beautiful pillow cover and seems to be well made. The zipper is nicely done and almost invisible. It's not the full length of the side, so I had to fold the insert to get it inside. The fabric has a synthetic, not cottony, feel to it, but I put it through the wash on delicate using cold water, and it came out still looking like new. If it shrunk any, it did so very consistently, as there are no wrinkles or puckers anywhere. I didn't measure it before, but after it was washed and air dried, it measures closer to 17" square unstuffed. As several reviewers had suggested for any pillow cover, I bought an oversized 20" square insert for it, but I plan to get an 18" one instead. The 20" is such a tight squeeze I'm afraid the zipper might pop.
